Hello, my name is Victor San Pedro and I love music! I started on piano when I was just three years old and have since received my bachelor’s in Jazz Guitar Performance and Master’s in Music Education. My professional experience spans from songwriting, performing, recording, touring, and even videography in the music industry, however, my heart is with teaching music. My teaching philosophy is for all students to DO music, that is to actively participate in “musicking”, not just learn about music as an abstraction. When students authentically DO music, they learn about themselves, others, and develop the 4 C’s: collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication. I am excited to be working with all of your students and opening the door for them to experience the lifelong joy and journey of music.
